Filter Cassette with Pressure Release Valve - Easy Gravity Drain Unit for 55 Gal Capacity Fermenters
Bokashicycle's filter cassette is designed to safely allow users a means of obtaining the Bokashi Tea formed in 55 gal capacity fermenters. The safety pressure release valve keeps your seal in good shape preventing damage related to rapid degassing that may occur initially when baking goods or high sugar content materials are placed in the fermenters. This device also makes it easier to drain and collect Bokashi Tea by placing the fermenters on their side with the cassette in the down position. Tea is allowed to drain through the cassette when the threaded pressure valve is removed.
The filter cassette is a completely assembled unit that attaches to the locking lid of a fermenter allowing for anaerobic fermentation excluding oxygen but releasing pressure within the fermenter safely in the event there is a gas being produced that could damage the fermenter.
Easy Installation!
It is designed to be affixed to the fermenter's lid with 3 self drilling screws. A 2.25 inch hole must be placed in the lid. The cassette is bonded and affixed with screws and allows in addition to potential pressure release, the ability to easily separate liquids from the solids at the end of fermentation. E6000 adhesive is used at the cassette interface to the lid with the screws assuring a fully anaerobic seal when properly bonded to the lid.
A separate key is provided that may be needed to properly tighten and or release the spigot ABS threaded cap.
